Advanced Construction Testing (ACT) was retained by Carmel Partners to provide building envelope testing services for a new residential development in Burlingame, California.

As an AAMA/FGIA accredited field-testing laboratory, ACT performed mock-up and field testing of glazing and fenestration systems in accordance with AAMA 502 (ASTM E783 & ASTM E1105). The scope included air and water leakage testing of casement, fixed, and awning windows, as well as vinyl door assemblies.

ACT provided and installed all testing equipment and chambers, conducted on-site performance verification, and delivered comprehensive test reports documenting results. Testing verified system performance and integration of window and door assemblies, helping ensure long-term durability and watertight performance for the project.
