Gilcrease Museum
Tulsa, Oklahoma
Advanced Construction Testing (ACT) provided third-party building envelope testing services for the new Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which involved the demolition of the existing three-story museum and construction of a four-story structure above a concrete podium.
ACT conducted comprehensive testing, including air and water barrier evaluations, curtain wall and sealant joint testing, roof membrane inspections using infrared thermography and electronic leak detection, multi-enclosure assembly water spray testing, and whole-building air barrier verification. Observations and findings were documented with field notes, sketches, and photographs, and detailed reports with recommendations were delivered to the owner and construction team to ensure performance and compliance with project specifications.
